Been about a week since I left Anastasia State Park and that was after time at the Supershow (RV show) in Tampa and a nice dinner with my nurse friends in Gainesville.

Anastasia is a pretty park but the sites are a distance from the beach. The day I walked, it was extremely windy and not too warm either.

Just hanging out in the parking lot was this pelican

This was a road to some sites. I was parked in the very last loop so it was quite a distance but worth the walk.

After my 'last minute' decision to leave home, I went to the Tampa RV show with a stop in Winter Haven the night I left. I met with RT friends at the show and then spent two nights in a campground (with my friends Bobbe and Carl) only a few miles from the Fairgrounds. Best of all it was  Passport America campground so it was not expensive for January in Florida.
Then I went to visit with my friends in Florahome and have dinner in Gainesville with my 'old' nurse group (Sue, Karen, Lynne and their respective husbands) along with Becky and Corbin (Sue's daughter and son in law) and the 6 month old Landon who really is a cutie pie. We had a great dinner eating New Orleans style dishes.
From there, I went to Anastasia State Park for a couple of nights. I would have not come home yet but if I'm going to be cold, I might as well be cold at home!
So, I will get some things done at home before heading to the FMCA area rally in about a week.
